A health care leader and Central Saanich councillor,, Sarah Riddell has a long history of taking action on the issues people care about. Her deep roots on the Saanich Peninsula, where she and her spouse are raising their two children, inspire her to act every day to make life better for the people of her community.

As Director of the Medical Services Plan Payment Schedule at the Ministry of Health, Sarah played a pivotal role in implementing the new payment model for family doctors. Thanks to her work, hundreds of new family doctors have come to British Columbia, giving many more people access to the healthcare they need, when they need it.
